I’m enjoying my new gadget. I love SONY products. I’ve recently purchased a mobile phone and mind you it took me three years to decide that I finally needed a phone. I always debate, why do I need to buy a phone? I can used the landline if I want to talk to my friends. But the thing is I don’t have a lot of friends here. Let’s just say, I secluded myself to avoid temptation. It’s just me, I didn’t came here to have fun. I came here to work and get ready for my future. Talkin about being mature again. (hehehehe). I can be shy if I want too and I can be loud if I like you. =P
The main reason I bought my phone is when my cousin from North Carolina decided to visit us here in Washington, DC. I was excited and getting ready for her trip. I haven’t seen here for three years and we occasionally talked to each other whenever I have the chance or whenever I borrowed my mom’s phone. The time is ticking and she’ll be here in a couple of days. So I desperately needed a phone because I’m the one whose picking her up at the airport. When I told her that I bought a phone just for her visit, she was somewhat flattered. And I guess the second reason is I’ll be in touch with my "special someone". =)
So far I’ve realized that having a mobile phone is a neccessity not a luxury. My friends/family can reach me anytime they want and vice versa. The only thing that scares me is my first monthly bill. Wahhhhh… it’s ok… it’s just money. I’ll just sacrifice a week of shopping spree.
